[KKOOM] Korean Orphans Need Furniture!

First Furniture Has Arrived

Someone is happy in his new bed!
Someone is happy in his new bed!

In late November 2012, 40 children at Samsungwon were able to move into their new housing accomodations thanks to donors like you. Donations paid for new beds, dressers, and desks. Additional money raised through this GlobalGiving project will go to pay for things like additional bedding, to make their homes more comfortable, and air conditioning units, which will be needed in the summer when it gets hot and humid.

The children moved their personal belongings from their old housing to their new accomodations and also were responsible for much of the cleaning and move-in process. After the move, they reflected that it was a lot of work, but they were happy to be settled in to their new homes, which are much larger and nicer than their old houses.

They are grateful for your generous support!
