Joshua Ndugu was the only one of the primary school children at JWHS without a sponsor in 2011. He handled it well and we love him but there was that empty spot that wishes for his own sponsor. Then an anonymous donor on Global Giving began giving a recurring donation. We elected to use it as a half sponsorship for Joshua. As the donor is anonymous, we cannot connect them directly but Joshua now knows he has a sponsor. Thank you donor and thank you to all the donors who give hope and enrich the lives of these children.
Meet Joshua Ndugu. He is 15 years old and has been at JWHS for 4 years He is quiet, respectful, and hardworking. As a matter of fact, while I am writing this my feet are up on the chair as he mops the floormona Saturday afternoon whistling as he works. Joshua can be found doing his chores without being asked and on time for study in the evening. He is also very funny. He makes the BEST faces. If there is dissapproval he casts his eyes and curls his lip. When he is amused he grins and giggles. When he is angry watch out for the fire in his eyes.
There are 5 children at JWHS attending Menengai Primary School. In Class 6, Joshua is a bit behind the normal school schedule as his education was interrupted before he came to live with us. After a difficult childhood, he is growing into a wonderful young man. He now has an anonymous sponsor for half his support. If you would like to contribute the other half, a recurring donation of $45.00 on Global Giving will do it.
Joshua would love to send you a letter or even talk to you on the phone to thank you in person.
