Map of A prophecy bomb blast That day before Kenya bomb the institute of economic affairs launched their third publication on public policy entittled our problems our solutions among the various issues analysed was Kenya's precarials disaster prepared and emergency response position. Our capacity to withstand , mitigate and manage disasters they book states is under increasing pressure. The publication criticised the Government for failing to develop a concrete emergency policy that would provide a framework to guide other actors inthe formulation and implementation. Read more.

Map of WATER Thousands of women in rural Kenya trek for several kilometers everyday in search of clean drinking water. Residents of Kibera often have to do about five kilometers to fetch water from boreholes in other neighborhoods such as Dagoretti Corner, where a 20 liter jerrycan of water retails for K Sh.3 at minimum. Houses with tap water are very few in this habitat estimated to house more than 300,000 people. Apart from private water taps, they also get water from tankers hovering around, some marked "clean soft water". They buy it without caring to know the source. Read more.

Map of DROUGHT Drought is one of the problems people in the North Rift are experiencing, shortage of food and water has led to death of people and animals at the North Rift part of Kenya. Its sorrowful that majority of the people in the region are migrating from their mother land to search for better place where they can got food and water. Animals such as cows and others ie domestic animals have been found dead leading to greater loss to the people in the region. Government and the Kenya Red Cross have come up to settle the drought situation at the North Rift this is through donation of food to people. Read more.

Drought Victims Saved

Map of DROUGHT VICTIMS SAVED In Kenya at a city called Marsabit was struck with drought which made people from that region to suffer. Plants dried and animals died because of lack of food and water. People became thin and thinner until some died. When a news reporter of Kenya Broadcasting Co-operation knew this he spreaded the news all over the world and Nations. The government of Kenya with its citizens in relation to the united nations organizations brought food stuffs and other needs the victims could require ti save their lives. Many Kenyans sacrificed to bring water to the victims using their tankers and trucks. Heath organizations brought medicine in supplus for the victims who suffered defficeincy diseases like marasmus. Invironmental organization adviced people from that region to plant trees so that rain can be available through evaporation. Read more.

Relief Food

Map of RELIEF FOOD Most of the Kenyans live below the poverty line. Its very difficult for some of the people in our communities to live on an expenditure of one dollar. This is evident to places where agriculture is not like political instability and lack of enough funds to cater for common recurring basic wants. The government has helped the country to get more aids especially of food from leading agricultural countries. The security starts with food and if you don't have, then you are insecure. After good education, wealth is the next but you can not succeed without good health.. WHO and the Red Cross are organisations that volunteer to promote social living standards of people. They offer relief food to the people restoring their health and also giving them hope for living and identifying themselves as natives of their countries. Food in such areas improves the health of growing children and men and women who had lots of signs of good health and provide energy for them to work. Read more.

Water Shortage

It's because of this that thousands of people perish in this our country. this people are neglected because of lack of shelter and clothing that they fail to perform economically. Life is difficult to this people hence they tend to Allievate themselves among other fellow people. Kenya a third world country faces challenges financially to cater for the needs of these people and its a country i likethus personality kenya red cross manager in his bid to promote development in this drought stroken areas he takes his time and energy to bring change to this society of people. Environmental Conservation

Map of Environmental conservation Soil Erosion has destroyed most parts of Kenya.Erosion has dig very valleys which construction of houses in such areas and even Agricultural practises have been very hard .The fertile part of the soil have been swept away by the erosion making cultivation a problem. In most part of Nyakach the lower side have been destroyed by the erosion which has also died to many losing life and livestock.When the valleys are filled water is sweap away people and so sweep away houses leaving people homeless.The government have biult gabions and fences to prevent the erosion.
