By Martin Mwangi and Pamela Collett | Trainee and Communications
My name is Martin Mwangi. I am 21 years old.
I've always been obsessed with filmmaking. I can remember always watching films. I would rather stay up late to watch a movie than do anything else.
I was supposed to begin Kibera Film School six months ago. But my dad died. He always supported me and told me to follow my dreams.
I kept thinking about him. I knew I had to come back to Kibera Film School. I couldn't think of anything else.
Now I'm here. And I'm loving it.
I didn't know anyone could learn so much in two weeks. I think I've learned in two weeks what people take two years to learn in a university.
The people here are awesome. The trainers are both friends and leaders. We can communicate. This makes Hot Sun Foundation better than any other place. The learning atmosphere is friendly .
Why should people invest in Hot Sun Foundation?
Hot Sun Foundation is the best place to learn film making in Kenya. What's even more amazing is that it is open to everyone-including youth from the slums. Something incredible - something life-changing is going on here.
Hot Sun Foundation gives many people the opportunity to do what they love and get the skills that they need to transform the film industry in Kenya.
REMINDER
The holiday season is coming up. Give a gift that is life changing. You can give a gift in honor of someone you care about as a special tribute.
Thank you!
