At the Shalom Center at Cedar Village, we strive to create hope and dignity for our residents suffering from elder abuse. From the moment they arrive for respite, we have nurtured and began to restore the quality of life they deserve. From providing unconditional love and support, we have added the necessary therapeutic rehabilitation for them to get back on their feet. In addition, through wonderful donations, we have been able to purchase new clothing and other items to make them feel special and renewed.
As one resident stated, “I have never been treated so well. You did not have to do this. I am so grateful.” And another family member said, “I have never seen my father look so good!”
