Leon Jonas - Head Coach Academy
As a warden in the prison Mr Jonas has extensive experience in working with youth at risk, especially young men who have been caught up in the prison gangs. Mr Jonas acts as the father figure for the many young men in the prison. He has been fully trained in the Academy model by Ambassadors In Sport.
Adam Bull - Technical Director Drakenstein
Adam first worked in Pollsmoor Prison in 2006 whilst on an internship placement in the Cape Town office. After a few years in the UK working with our London office Adam accepted a post as Head Coach in Drakenstein Prison where the Cape Town Academy is held. Adam has now trained the prison officials and inmates in the Academy coaching philosophy. Adam follows up many of our young men once released.
Lindsey Petit - Education Officer Drakenstein
Lindsey has 8 years experience working with Juvenile Prisoners in Pollsmoor. Lindsey joined our Drakenstein Academy in 2010 and overseas the 'future' element of the Academy. This role includes overseeing the Academy players schooling and further education both in prison and once released. This role is very important as education is so important in every player's progress within the Academy.
