JustWorld International acts as a catalyst for positive change in the developing world by working in alliance with local partner organizations to provide basic education, nutrition, health, hygiene, and vocational programs for children in impoverished communities in Honduras, Cambodia, Guatemala, and Brazil

What is the issue, problem, or challenge?

JustWorld places a global focus on children and education, in an effort to empower a generation to lift themselves out of poverty and overcome the many challenges that hinders them: -Communities with no social or health services: no schools, no safe streets, no running water; crime and gang activity, drug and alcohol abuse -Families with low means of income where they are have to enter the labor force at early age, and the related costs of materials and attendance keeps them out of school

How will this project solve this problem?

We focus on providing long-term support to children's education, health and nutrition initiatives in developing countries. Toward these goals, JustWorld Works in communities where local organizations have evolved to help children who often fall beyond the reach of government and large-scale humanitarian programs Helps grassroots, community-based partners formulate long-range business plans towards their self-sustainability Balances direct JustWorld staff oversight with local management

Potential Long Term Impact

JustWorld currently reaches more than 3000 young beneficiaries across the globe through the support of programs that look for the overall well-being and integration of children into education. By ensuring children's access to proper nutrition, health (a hungry and sick child cannot learn) and pair it up with innovative educational initiatives and support, we can help increase the enrollment and academic performance of thousands, providing a timely intervention by investing in their future.
