Renae Adam - Co-Founder and Executive Director

Prior to co-founding Women in Progress / Global Mamas, Renae Adam consulted on IT/business strategy issues. Her inspiration for women's efforts to advance in business stemmed from her Peace Corps assignment as a Small Enterprise Development volunteer in Ghana (1992-1995). She enabled a community of women to bring a new product idea to fruition in addition to co-founding a women's credit union.

Kristin Johnson - Co-Founder and CFO

Kristin Johnson has nearly two decades of experience working with women entrepreneurs to develop and finance their companies. She co-founded Global Mamas in 2003 based on the belief that the most effective way for African women to realize social and economic justice is to achieve economic independence through self-employment. Kristin served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ghana from 1992-1995.
