Leroy S. Close - President and Founder

Leroy Close has been actively involved with Haiti for over 40 years. He founded 1000 Jobs/Haiti, Inc. in 2009 in order to address the chronic lack of jobs in Haiti's Central Plateau. The organization now supports three women's cooperatives with sales and merchandising of products and has two construction related projects which produce concrete building blocks and compressed earth blocks.
