Disability is seen as a taboo in Nigeria and people with disabilities are sometimes connected with evil spirits and are discriminated against. Our beneficiaries are poor disabled youths whom have deprived of the right to education and other development activities. Our center teaches vocational skills in shoe-making, tailoring, welding and fabrication, poultry and computer training among others. Due to stigma, there are few chances of employment. We need financial support to create jobs for them.
Job creation for self employment; Education and skill acquisition for sustainable living; A fulltime staff knowledgeable in IT/ Computer science and a support staff will be employed.
