Tenacity offers high-quality literacy and tennis programming that builds and strengthens academic skills and improves fitness.
Tenacity addresses the need for at-risk children to have access to quality out-of-school-time programs by filling a gap in programming that continues to exist in Boston, especially for low to moderate-income children. Since more than 80% of a child’s waking hours are spent outside of school, it is particularly important that young people have opportunities for productive activity when they are not in school.
Tenacity offers a balance of academic support and tennis instruction as a way to help youth achieve their full potential in life.
Tenacity enables urban youth to achieve in the classroom while imparting life skills and promoting character development. It is our goal to maintain that over 95% of ASEP graduates will graduate from high school and pursue continuing education.
Tenacity has taught me that if I want something grand to happen to me then I should do something grand to help others. Tenacity has made many of us better people.
