Manjula Dissanayake - President
Manjula was born and raised in Kandy, Sri Lanka, and moved to the U.S. at age nineteen. Manjula recently completed a master's degree at The Fletcher School at Tufts University. He spoke on the Secretary Clinton's Global Diaspora Forum's education panel in 2011 and was named a finalist for the UN's volunteer of the year award in 2011. Manjula has worked at CapitalSource Finance and the World Bank.
DIlshan Godaliyadda - Director of Communications
Dilshan was born and raised in Kandy, Sri Lanka. He moved to the United States when he was 20 years old, and graduated with a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, and is now a PhD candidate at Purdue University. He has been part of Educate Lanka since inception, and now handles affairs relating to communications, volunteer management, and expansion.
