I Got The Right Good Samaritan

Map of I got the right good Samaritan I am Fesa Bushasha from Tumaini Miles of smiles children's home in Kakamega north district.This home provided room for my upkeep in the year 2006 after finding me very needy. The social worker of the home was moved to tears on noticing me daily loitering eimlessly on the road in torn clothes.I was turning into a street boy due to poverty.After i was brought into the home,i was amazed at the amount of love and care i received.Now i am in school in class five learning.We are always counselled and encouraged daily by Gods people and other experts.My life has changed greatly.I am also very bright and always position 6,5 or 4 in class,i believe i will fulfill my desire to become an engineer. Beautiful Soul

Map of BEAUTIFUL SOUL There was a certain girl who came from a very rich family. All her family members had died some years before. She had a boyfriend who she loved very much and four house helps. She had sickle celled anemia which made her boyfriend hate her. Her life was to end shortly. After discovering that, she gave her house helps six million Naira cheque each so that they can enjoy their lives. She was very kind. She also made friendship with a taxi driver who also wanted to marry her but she refused because she still loved her previous boyfriend who she was still paying for his school fees. She decided to go and work in a divided house as a house help. the family had divorced and mother and child were the only ones left. She helped the young girls in her studies. She sent money to the girls mother indirectly by sending her house help and told her never to tell her name. She was stressed by her betrayal boyfriend and fainted every now and again. Then one day, the woman refused to take the money and said she wanted to see who was helping her. She bought a poor man and sent him to go and represent her. Finally, the man turned her. He wanted to be given more money or break the news. She finally refused and died. She wrote a will of 8 billion Naira for the mother. Read more.

Frontline Women

Map of Frontline women Frontur is an estate in Butula town.It has cheap houses and this makes it every populated area.Every activity bad or good originate from that estate.Most children from the estate never went school ,women would sit on the verandas or road junction to gossip.some even started selling illegal brews and drugs to school day a student from a local school visited the estate ,took alot of alcohol ,got drunk and because he would not sneak back to school to fell on the veranda of the shop and slept.Coming back to his sences,he told the administration whose he had been and fronter was expiosed.One lady who is a member of an organisation visited the area& had a meeting with few woman about the importance forming a group engaging in money generating activity.At first some did not agreed to your . She assisted the the few is women who had agreed to your a group and registered. Now it has 62 women.the main activities are business and rearing of poultly.Few does farming.Those who embraced farming were helped with farm inputsfrom the ministry of agriculture. Read more.

A Thef For The Mother

Map of A thef for the mother A boy who stole from the grandmother is a store that goes around town now. The boy who was arrested admitted the offence on Feb 2, at Gituamba. The court was here to get this. On the fateful day the boy's grandmother left him home and went to the shamba. On returning she found the boy had gone with some items missing from her house. The items include wheat flour, beans, green grams, cooking fat, plates, cup, and two sufurias. The boy was arrested and some of the items recovered. The most touchy thing about the story was when he told the police that the mother was married in Gatundu and had delivered and had no one to attend to her. The father had an accident and had his legs amputated. The grandmother had refused to give him food to take to her . Thus why he stole. Read more.

Quarry Tragedy

Map of Quarry Tragedy Florence Wanjiru walked down to a quarry at Umoja estate in Thika to crash ballast for sale.It was a routine journey that the mother at four made every morning to put food on the table as her husband's money catered for other needs. Since she could not afford a house help, she prepared her three elder children for school, then strapped her 10 month old last born on her back and set off for the vast quarry where she would work the whole day. Later, afternoon, she would be joined by her sons, age 10 and 4. The father would join the family later in the evening from another quarry where he excautes building stones. This was a routine for that family until that Monday afternoon when tragedy struck, cutting short the lives of the mother and her three young ones. Such accidents have become common in quarries spread central province. Read more.

Hiv-aids Testing

Map of HIV-AIDS testing i was sexually abused when i was in form 4. because the person who did it to me was a close relative, my parents decided to hide my case from the police. after two yrs i became sick and bed ridden. my parents thought i have been bewitched. They introduced me to traditional medicine but nothing. one of our C.H.W in the area came to my home and decided to help me go to hospital where i was escorted by my mother. i was tested positive. my mother could not believe. when my father heard the report they felt very bad, they started pursuing the case in vain. from that time my mother became hypertensive but i am staying well and on drugs.
