Summary
The Indian gypsies called Narikoravas will get the full stop to their migration from place to place. By providing mans first need of a shelter the other two needs of food and clothes will be easier.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
The Narikurava or Narikorava are a community of ("Indian gypsies") who reside in the Indian states of Tamilnadu and Kerala.
The main occupation of the people, who originally belong to the indigenous tribes, is hunting. But as they were prohibited entry into the forests to pursue this livelihood, they were forced to take up other alternatives such as selling beaded ornaments to survive. Hence they migrate from place to place to find a market for their beads. Children accompany the adult.
How will this project solve this problem?
Home for the Homeless called the ˝Permanent Home for the Gypsies˝ (Nadodikalin Niranthara Illam) in order to stop their gypsiesms will be established in udayasooriapuram village of pattukkottai block, Thanjavur district.
