All of Childhood Leukemia Foundation (CLF) programs are dedicated to empowering and improving the lives of children with cancer. Our programs promote health literacy (Hope Binder), restore self esteem (Hugs U Wear), stay connected to their friends and family (prepaid phone cards), and educate and entertain while undergoing cancer treatment (Wish Baskets).
All of CLF's programs are dedicated to improving the lives of children with cancer.
Barbara Reid-Haramis - Founder & Executive Director
Barbara founded CLF when she learned of a story about a young pediatric oncology patient who only wanted a Nintendo Game Boy. He was bed ridden, and his family could not afford to buy him one. He received his Nintendo Game Boy and Barbara made the decision to dedicate her life to "lifting the spirits" of other young cancer patients. To date, CLF has helped over 150,000 children.
