For the past 10 months Golan Yairi, the winner of our Hub Rally Accelerator, has been working hard. We are happy and excited to share with you the amazing progress he has made during this time.
Golan has behind him a 25 year career in the army - as the commander of the elite help and rescue unit (669) and later on as the founder and director of the Leadership School of the Israeli Airforce. He decided to leave all that and start his way as a social entrepreneur.
As someone who experienced an intensive career, Golan always felt torn between his job and his family - so now he is devoting his time and energy to helping families create meaningful mutual experiences, through which they are encouraged to change habits which might assist them in leading a deep, loving and supporting relationship and fit that into their routine.
Golan takes families to outdoor experiences where they get to know each other from new perspectives, work as a team to regain trust and communication, as well as enjoy and capture rare hours of being together with no distractions. He uses his vast experience in team building to glue family members together and remind them of the value and role of each one in the family structure. Lastly, Golan adds to the family dialogue and experience the aspect of shared values.
You are welcome to take a look at the website of Liba - meaning core/heart/center - this inspiring social enterprise taking its first steps in the world and already starting to make an impact in the lives of families in Israel, trying to cope with the intense and multiple demands modern life is challenging us all with.
