Bring hope to Thai kids in the Khlong Toey slum

Our fantastic team in Bangkok, Thailand is already hard at work planning their 1Love PFC Day event for 2013. 1Love Playing For Change Day unites a global community through the power of music to affect positive social change. Communities will gather on September 21 as musicians from all over the world perform on stages, street corners, schools, yoga studios, and cafes all with the goal of bringing music into the lives of young people.

It's very exciting to have Thailand represented for the second year, this time with our students at Khlong Toey!

The students and teachers were in the studio working on a new song and video that will be used to promote their 1Love PFC Day event thoroughout Thailand. The students are receiving an incredible opportunity to not only learn music, but also experience a recording studio and a chance to perform in front of a live audience. Everyone at PFCF are grateful to the teachers and leaders of the Khlong Toey program for the invaluable skills and inspiration they're providing the kids.

PFCF's newest program is taking off in amazing ways! We're so proud of everyone involved. We can't wait to see what the rest of the year brings, especially September 21.
