Erin Kelly - Research Intern

A junior at University of Mary Washington Erin has pursued volunteer experiences for years. With an internship at Habitat for Humanity during high school she immediately started attending Students Helping Honduras meetings when she went to college. She is currently taking classes in Development and will soon receive her bachelor's in Economics, after which she will live in Honduras for a year.

Shawn Humphrey - Project Organizer

Currently an Assistant Professor of Economics and the University of Mary Washington Dr. Humphrey is spearheading the stove initiative as well as beginning to look into starting a microfinance institution. His specialty is development economics he has started a hands-on independent study program which lets his undergraduate students experience the realities of the theories they have learned.
