This week Kathy Ragnar, our Executive Director, and two board members met with the newly elected Alderman of our ward, James Cappleman. Alderman Cappleman shared Sarah's Circle's enthusiasm for converting the delapidated, vacant building into a well-designed and vibrant social service agency. The project will not only help thousands of women to rebuild their lives, but it will also improve the appearance of the neighborhood and eliminate the risks of the currently vacant building across from the local Boys & Girls Club.
Sarah's Circle is making steady progress on completing the fundraising for the building. We have 90% of the funds needed! We have also chosen a contractor, who is ready to start construction as soon as we close on the building.
Thank you again for your support!
