Summary
Orphanages are severely damaged, endangering 450 vulnerable children. Donate now for urgent hazard removal, structural repairs, sanitation, and post-disaster therapy and survival education programs.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
Santiago’s orphanages were severely damaged by the earthquake, resulting in a highly dangerous situation for over 450 abandoned and abused children. The structural damages are further complicated by the surrounding impoverished neighborhoods, leaving hundreds of children without a secure place to sleep. VE Global would restore stability and hope to these children and institutions, providing the essential repairs and sanitation needed to make the homes safe again.
How will this project solve this problem?
The project addresses disaster relief, sanitation, and prevention. Volunteers and professionals will clear hazards and make crucial structural repairs, provide sanitation services for disease prevention, and provide earthquake survival programs.
Potential Long Term Impact
This project ensures the survival and functioning capacity of orphanages in Santiago, in addition to providing practical crisis management, survival skills, and post-traumatic emotional support to vulnerable children
Project Message
VE Global has a practical and tangible vision for providing educational opportunity to at-risk children in Santiago, Chile.
