Holiday gifts for low-income kids in Washington DC

On December 18 the Latin American Youth Center (LAYC) decked the halls and lit the lights for its annual client Holiday Party.

This year, hundreds of youth and their families joined in the celebration that included an elaborate feast, games and arts and crafts projects for the younger guests, and of course, visits from the two most important guests of all: Santa and Mrs. Claus! All of the youth -- and many adults -- had the opportunity to take a photo with the North Pole duo and tell them all the gifts that they wanted this year.

Through your support of our holiday gifts campaign, we were able to bring holiday joy to the community we serve.

From all of us here at the Latin American Youth Center we want to wish you a happy holiday season and a safe and exciting New Year!

Thanks again for your support!
