Helping young people to let them help themselves

Paulina is one of members of our association, she shows one of works of art made by youngsters on a project done in cooperation with ATD Fourth World, an organization focusing on eradication of extreme poverty and exclusion. On the piece of material, young people had the task to draw human figures holding each others hands and say something they would like to tell the whole world.

One of youthlike theatre groups presents their talents on an international festival managed by the Mecenat team. The project was realised on bare field between two fields, on a former border crossing between Prussian and Russian empires up to 1914. The border crossing has been symbolically reconstructed, and, under the slogan "where there is a border there is also a way" manifold cultural events are realised there.

Group works artistically on making new paper from old newspaper, rags, hay and straw. The project aimed at creating a group of young green-thinking individuals who would use arts creatively in promoting ecological ways of thinking.

A moment of a show "the Arc" performed by actors from Teatr Ósmego Dnia, one of the best avant-garde theatre in the world. They were invited to show off with their skills on one of cultural events performed on a former border crossing in rural region of Wielkopolska, Poland. A steel ship set on fire was traversing through masses of spectators and the scene was changing continuously. What a great show was it! - and we organized it.
