Selinah- April 2009
This photo shows one of our Clinic patients, Selinah, at the start of her Antiretroviral Treatment in April 2009. She was desperately ill and in the final stages of AIDS when we first met her.
Selinah- August 2009
Selinah, just 90 days later. Much stronger after taking her Anti Retroviral treatment each day. Her improvement is called the Lazarus effect, this term is used to describe the powerful effect that such medication can have. HIV need not be an instant death sentence; by taking one's meds every day, it is very possible to improve your quality of life dramatically. Please help us to spread this message of hope.
He's got the whole world in his hands
A child in one of the communities plays with a soccer ball. Soccer fever was to be seen in 2010, even in the most remote areas!
