This project provides program development for a boarding/day school to serve the education and employment needs of 400 poor village children.
This school will be for the poorest children living in small villages where the only opportunities that come their way is work for the boys from age 5 and prostitution for girls from age 10. Their parents are so poor and so ignorant that they fall prey to exploiters, besides they need money for survival. The school will attempt to create an economic program to benefit the parents as well as give them rudimentary education.
Program design so that children will be given holistic education beyond the three "Rs". Building their confidence and character as well as vocational training so that they will be equipped to face the challenges of the world.
The project aims to educate 400 young boys and girls a year and help pull them out of poverty and ignorance and equip them to deal with life on a more even playing field. Most importantly, we will be saving young girls from a life of prostituttion.
