LRFF needs to upgrade its technical capabilities reaching out more effectively to the world. In this way LRFF will broaden it’s forest restoration and preservation activities in the tropical belt.
In September 2005 the LRFF idea was born. Learning on a friend’s computer, we wrote letters of inquiry to govt’s and other NGO’s around the world. Six months later we were able to buy a used laptop and have since built the LRFF into an internationally recognized organization, working to restore and preserve the world’s native tropical forests. The old Mac laptop is still the only computer we have. This project will give LRFF the new equipment and tech support it needs to further its cause.
Convert small, room into office area, purchase one new desktop computer, 1 new laptop with extra memory, extended warranty, desk & chair, lamp, printer/scanner, file cabinet and 1 year of office set up, web design & tech support. Increases capacity.
With new equipment LRFF can expand their international forestry activities. By planting and preserving more forests we will help absorb CO2 from the atmosphere, increase oxygen and water levels worldwide and prevent animal extinctions.
This project has provided additional documentation in a Microsoft Excel file (projdoc.xls).
