Lawrence Cann - Director, Community Works 945

At age 24, Cann founded Art Works 945, an innovative outreach and engagement program for the homeless, (now called Community Works 945) which has grown to encompass other initiatives in sports and urban agriculture. A former all conference college soccer player himself, Cann started the first year-round street soccer program for the homeless in the US in 2004.

Mel Young - President Homeless World Cup Foundation

Young has nearly 15 years experience tackling the global issue of homelessness. Co-Founder of The Big Issue Scotland in 1993 he co-founded the International Network of Street Papers in 1995 of which he is Honorary President. In 2001 he co-created the Homeless World Cup and has since grown the tournament to trigger and unite over 48 national grass roots football programmes
