By offering training for health, agroecology, the environment, pharmacy and veterinary services, APROSADSE is providing support and technical assistance to indigenous community groups and families in San Martin Jilotepeque, Chimaltnango.
APROSADSE has been successful in many areas, but wants to continue to advance the capacity of community leaders, support developers and producers in order to improve the quality of community production and to create organizational and financial self-sustainability.
APROSADSE is establishing projects with both individuals and communities, by developing awareness in the communities about the importance of animal health, which will positively contribute to production, economic growth and therefore, improve livelihoods. They are also strongly focusing their efforts on strengthening the participation of young indigenous women through raising livestock and other income-generating activities that lead to better food security for entire families and communities.
When you lend your support to projects like these, you are a direct part in helping communities further their goals for a more vibrant and healthy future - thank you!
