An extensive awareness campaign across the country targeting both people with disabilities and the general public in order to improve understanding and promote inclusion of people with disabilities.
To support a local NGO promoting awareness of disabilities issues and rights. $1,000 will print the awareness poster designs in the local newspapers for 2 weeks to further promote the message of inclusion and rights for persons with disabilities.
Organize competitions to develop posters that have positive messages about the inclusion of people with disabilities. The winning designs and slogans will be developed into a color poster and printed and distributed throughout Iraq.
The project aims at improving understanding and promotion of inclusion of people with disabilities. The activity will raise the awareness among the participants and help to convey the message among community members.
Many projects provide curative assistance to the disabled. This project will increase awareness about the basic rights of underrepresented people: the right to go to school, to work, to vote, etc.
