Project Personnel

Rebeca Atencia - Sanctuary Manager/Veterinarian

Rebeca has served as the Sanctuary Manager and Veterinarian at JGI's Tchimpounga Chimpanzee Rehabilitation Center in the Republic of Congo since May of 2006. Before joining JGI, Rebeca served as veterinarian and program manager for several different zoos and primate conservation programs including HELP in the Republic of Congo, Titulcia Zoo and Rainfer Sanctuary for Primates in Madrid, Spain.
