We hope you are having a great summer.
Fifteen days and the children will be back to school from their summer break. We at Children of Peace encourage you to give what you can to our luncheon project. It makes a huge difference in the child ability to focus and progress when the child has a healthy nutritional meal. Therefore, we highly appreciate your support & contributions - and encourage you to continue to giving to our project. We look forward to providing you with more updates as school resumes, and we thank you for your continued assistance & support.

Our students continue to receive a prepared lunch every Friday.
We make a considerable effort to incorporate produce grown on-site. Utilizing vegetables from our garden has brought benefits that extend beyond nutrition.
"Our garden has fostered a greater connection between the students and their environment," said founder Khaled Jaraysa. "They are able to track a vegetable's path from garden to plate."
We'd love to be able to provide a nutritious lunch to the students each day they come to school. Please give what you can to help us move closer to that goal!

Happy new year, Lunch Program supporters!
We hope 2013 is treating you well so far.
Here, in Bethlehem, school has recently resumed after a holiday break. We are thankful to have the funds necessary to be able to offer the students a lunch once a week as we start the new year.
"Proper nutrition significantly enhances the success of our education and healing programs," said founder Khaled Jaraysa. "I am so grateful for the support that has allowed us to offer lunch on Fridays and I hope we can provide lunch on a daily basis again very soon."
Please consider making a contribution to the lunch program today!

Since our last report, we have had to put the lunch program on hold. We are continuing to accept funds for the program and will restart it as soon as we have enough funding to keep the program afloat for at least two months.
"It was tough to have to temporarily stop the provision of lunches and nutritional support to the students, as the kids really benefited from the program" said founder Khaled Jaraysa. "We are fortunate to have such wonderful supporters and I am confident that they will help us restart the program very soon!"
We wish you a peaceful and happy holiday season and ask that you consider making a contribution to the lunch program today.
It an exciting time of year for the children we serve, as a new school year has just begun. Thanks to your support, we were able to offer lunch to the students last week. However. unless we receive additional funds, we will have to discontinue the lunch program at the end of next week.
Our founder, Khaled Jaraysa, recently reflected on the benefits of the lunch program, as well as the program's potential cessation. "Proper nutrition enhances the success of our educational and counseling programs. As teachers and staff regularly comment on positive changes they have noticed since we started this program, I really hope we do not have to discontinue the provision of lunches and nutritional support."
We are most hopeful that we will be able to continue providing this vital nutritional element, but we can't do it without your help. Please consider a gift of $100, sponsoring meals for two children for a month.
Thank you so much for your support!
