This project will help in overall growth including education and basic needs of the 100 orphan children of Begusarai, Bihar (India) and they are bound to beg in railway platforms to run their lives.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
It is the 21st century going on and we say that we, technology and development go hand in hand and also that children are the our future but still there are many orphan children in Begusarai Bihar who have no one to take care of and are bound to begging on the railway platform of Begusarai Station and at the same point they get themselves indulged into many unsocial activities which leads to the increase of crime in the society. these children get humiliation and pay back the same to society
How will this project solve this problem?
BGVP has taken an initiative for the upliftment of those children and educate them in order to give them a better future and motivate them to be an active and responsible part of the society. We wish to give them every bit of support for their growth morally, emotionally, and most important EDUCATION wise. BGVP has formed few core groups who go to different stations, railway platforms and find out these children, talk to them, take them into confidence so to help them to give a respectable life.
Potential Long Term Impact
This project will not only educate those Railway Platform orphan children who beg for their survival but would also make them self dependent in every aspect. It would enhance their life standard forever as they would become literate which is utmost required. This project will join them to the mainstream life, teach them to respect and get respect. At the same time make them understand the importance of education. This will help them to become a good citizen of the country. Helps to minimise crime
