Helping Heart

Map of HELPING HEART George Odhiambo of the New Adventure primary school has helped slum children to attend primary school.With all his support he provides basic education to informal dwellers where children are fed during lunch and access education free. SLUM DWELLERS Its obvious that the condition of living in Kibera is very worst and most of the parents can't afford the basic needs plus the education last year the school passed its national exams and George managed to take 4 of the pupils to high school.Most of the pupils after drop out the decides to venture into idleness and bad activities so George is still struggling if he can get support to support as many orphans and vulnerable children in Kibera. Primary Fee Fiasco

Map of Primary Fee fiasco Gone were the days when we used to pay the primary school fees. Most of the government owned schools had fever pupils since the numbers of pupils whose parents could afford the fees were few. The lucky ones however had the opportunity at least to learn once or twice in a classroom before being added on top of the fees together with that of uniform, the cost of education was way higher than most of us could afford. That's when the government stepped up to give a helping hand to its people in terms of education. The government authorised that primary school be free of charge and this boosted the morale for most parents to educate their children. Read more.
