Thanks to your support through GlobalGiving we were able to raise $4,470.75 and it has been disbursed! With those funds we are now able to send 41 children to school for six months. We look at this gift as a vote of confidence, and we promise to not let you down. Forty one kids went from spending days on the street to learning to read in the classroom. The community is truly overwhelmed that people, who have never met us, care. Our next goal is to work on becoming a sustainable organization by creating income generation projects. Our goal is to ensure the children are fed, cared for and in school for the entire year. In Uganda, there is no free public school; I was shocked to learn that kids in the U.S. can go to school for free! Without anything to pay Before we received this international support, we were very much just trying to figure out how to get by, day by day. But now we are looking towards the future and sustainability is our number one goal. We have big dreams of how life can be and thanks to your support; those dreams are a bit clearer. As we are in the process of growth at Mama Home, we have been able to acquire 6 beds and 10 mattresses. as the need is still high we came up with “Health Campaign which we named 1 Bed ,1 Mattress and one child please follow this link . http://youtu.be/W-4RgHWS5A Our donation page on Global Giving: http://www.globalgiving.org/projects/support-talent-education-skills-for-50-ugandan-orphans/ is still active, if you know of any friends who would be interested in supporting: And if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at email@example.com.
Thank you once again. We look forward to sharing the progress of the upcoming months with you! With gratitude, Winnie Kiwalabye
