THE NEVER ENDING HOPE FOR BUTCH
This is the smile of Butch, most might look this smile awkward or annoying but for us who knew him it’s the sweetest smile Butch could ever gave to us, his friends. Butch is such well-known guy to anyone else especially in the area. If one will talk of crabs and shrimps that’s Butch that will came into each of our mind.
In spite of his disability, Butch has all the courage and enthusiasm of finishing his studies. The foundation started helping him when he was still in high school. Most would drag him down and discourage him for Butch has difficulty in talking, writing and slightly in walking. But that never affected him, from his first course Bachelor of Science in Business Administration he shifted into 2 years of Computer Technology. Believing this computer course will equip him to face the challenge that lies ahead on a modernized world. Thus, the foundation never ended up of supporting his dreams be realized through the help of the Sitichting Liliane Fonds and the donors from the GLobal Giving
April 18, 2008, finally the big day came. The hope for Butch’s battle had been unveiled. It was a sunny Saturday we saw Butch on his black tuga filled with overwhelming gladness for Butch finally marched in the stage and received his diploma.
However, after the day, though Butch already had a diploma another challenge set-in, the challenge for job-hunting. Butch as of now is jobless, he wanted to find job but as of this moment it isn’t his luck yet. But this condition never had been a hindrance for him to pursue his motivation and desire to live a normal life since he is into business. A little but legal business, for his financial capital is limited, which includes buying and selling crabs. If given the chance to be supported with sufficient financial assistance for Butch’s business, his future would surely be bright for Butch was born businessman already.
