Summary

Avancemos helps young people to lead a positive social change. We inspire and provide them with the proper tools so they can create and launch their own ventures in benefit of their communities.

What is the issue, problem, or challenge?

In Mexico, 30 percent of the population is under 29; 4 million young people are unemployed or not studying and 1.5 million emigrate every year, looking for better opportunities. Their opinions and their needs are rarely heard. Avancemos provides young people with the opportunity to become changemakers and address themselves the social challenges of their communities. We work with young people from different backgrounds, from rural to urban areas, including indigenous communities.

How will this project solve this problem?

Avancemos supports young people in the design of a sustainable action plan of their social change idea. They present it to other social changemakers and receive advises, support and funding to launch their Venture Team.
