We have been working hard to complete additional Wells for the benefit of our people. But lack of funds has hampered our progress over the last quarter. We have managed to complete the concrete lining on three out of the 5 ongoing Wells under construction. The target communities are eager to see these Wells complete especially around this time of the year. Because of the long dry season experienced from November to April every year, many communities in our project area have problems with water accessibility. As a result of this, our people have to resort to polluted water from the streams, which is not safe to their health.
With some of the contributions the communities have made towards the project, they are very anxious to see water flow from the Wells under construction. Mothers, school children and the elderly want to have the water. Some of the school children including Manfred Gyesi and Joana Boateng both in primary class 5 from Twoansuokodu community are always on us to see to the completion of the Well in their community.
We are therefore appealing to you all to donate generously to help us purchase hand pumps to complete the outstanding Hand Dug Wells in the shortest possible time for our people to have access to clean water.
Funds received in the last quarter under review were used to purchase two hand pumps to complete work on two out of the seven new wells under construction. The wells completed include that of the Sacoraa School and another one in Cocoase all in Praso Township. The completion of these two wells came so timely especially for the Sacoraa School, which has reopened for the new Academic year. The school authority and children of the school are so happy for the water facility at their school.
With the out brake of cholera in most communities in Ghana, the school believes the water from the well would go a long way to improve hygiene among the children of the school. The population of the school, which is almost 200 children are presently using the water to wash their hands as well as using it to quench their thirst.
Presently, there are five other Wells almost ready for completion and we need hand pumps to complete them. We are therefore appealing to our cherish donors to donate generously to enable us to complete the wells.

As indicated in our previous report, the target of our project is to make clean water assessable to 5000 people in Twifu communities. In this regard more communities including schools identified are waiting to be provided with the water facilities. In the last three months we have added three new Wells, which are under construction in the identified communities. Work on these Well is far advanced with concrete lining on two of the wells completed.
The most important needs for the Wells to be completed are the Hand Pumps. Presently, we shall need seven (7) of the pumps to complete all the seven Wells under construction.
School children in Sacoraa Primary School where one of the Well is located are eager to see the Well completed before they are back to school in September. The school children are very happy because they believe the water would quench their perennial thirst for water and improve sanitation in the school. We are therefore once again appealing to you all to donate generously to meet the present needs of our project.

Our warm greetings once again to our cherish donors and we want thank every donor for helping us to make clean water accessible to our people. Currently 2500 people are accessing clean water from the ten (10) Hand Dug Well we have completed since the commencement of the project in 2010.The project target is to make clean water accessible to 5000 people in our project area in Ghana. More communities are eager and waiting patiently to have these water facilities fixed in their communities. We have worked hard from January to date to ensure that works on the four (4) ongoing wells are completed before June this year. For this to be possible, we once again need the support of our cherish donors to generously donate to help purchase four (4) additional water pumps to complete these wells. The women and children of Ayaase, Akwekrom, Akutuase and Manfi are looking forward to see this happen soon and we are counting on your valuable donations.
Greetings to all our cherish donors in this New Year 2014. We are eager to see good things to come our way this year 2014. In our situation, the year 2013 ended with many challenges including lower donations to our project. However, the little we received, we managed to complete the last outstanding Well at Zakari community. Donations received in the last quarter of the year was used to purchased one hand pump, which was used to fixed and completed the Well. The 230 population of Zakari community can now accessed clean water for domestic use and this would go a long way to improve the health of women and children in the community.
All must take note that we have now got ten (10) Hand Dug Wells completed since the commencement of this project, which is currently benefiting about 2500 people.
With help of the project communities, the ongoing work on four (4) new Wells in the communities are almost completed and pumps are needed to complete them in the shortest possible time. We are therefore thanking our cherish donors once again to donate and tell family and friends to donate and help us complete this Wells and to construct new ones as well.
Happy New Year to you all!!!!
