Help America's Special Needs & Autistic Infants
Today, 1 in 110 kids are diagnosed with autism!
Today, 1 in 110 individuals is diagnosed with autism, making it more common than pediatric cancer, diabetes, and AIDS combined. It occurs in all racial, ethnic, and social groups and is four times more likely to strike boys than girls. Autism impairs a person's ability to communicate and relate to others. It is also associated with rigid routines and repetitive behaviors.
Early Intervention for Preemies
Our goal is to provide Early Intervention and educational support to the medically-fragile infants that find nursing homes with “Angels in Waiting.” We are seeking additional funding to provide more Early Intervention services and programs for these children.
Early InterventionTherapy is the key
Early Intervention is the key to promoting early brain development which is often lacking because of the extensive time some of these infants have in the Neonatal Intensive Care Units due to the loss of parental rights to the birth parents. These infants need the bonding and developmental help to promote proper brain development which helps all other areas of development. Each family is guided to additional resources to help make these children successful.
New research is pushing back the age of diagnosis
New research is pushing back the age of diagnosis to as early as 6 months. Parents are usually the first to notice unusual behaviors in their child or their child's failure to reach appropriate developmental milestones
