This project helps women from large poverty areas in Rio de Janeiro. They live in extreme poverty, are uneducated, have sick kids in treatment, and are responsible for the family. They live far from their children, without income and professional opportunities.
A family is assisted monthly by Renascer through job training, placement, and other needs.
Total Funding Received to Date: $7,115
Remaining Goal to be Funded: $22,284
Total Funding Goal: $29,400
This project has provided additional documentation in a Microsoft Word file (projdoc.doc).
We aim to prepare 100 people per year for the job market by giving them professional courses and tools they need to generate income and sustain their families. We also want to replicate the model.
