Dear friends,
As many of you know, in two weeks summer vacations will be over and children are going to start a new school year.
We continue to have great results in our Ethics, Empathy and Wisdom program! As Irma Morales, Sedac’s Principal, had reported, “parents seem to be more involved with the program as they see in their children reflexive and tolerant attitudes. We also notice that these kids are spreading into their families this path they are getting to know.”
As parents of Sedac are very excited, we are willing to expand this class to more groups. So, for this new challenge we are going to increase our goal to $40,000 to support one more group of children.
We believe that if we raise the number of benefited children by giving them empathic and reflective skills as well, the impact in this community will also increase, and egocentric behaviors will be changed for social well-being attitudes.
