Community Appreciates TYSA efforts
The local community is increasingly accepting the situation of children with disability. They are coming out more openly to support these children. As demonstrated during the community meeting held two weeks ago.
‘I had hidden my child for 11 years fearing being accused of witchcraft’ I wish I had known all these before, that disability is not a CURSE’. Mr Kibet a father to Collins. I want to thank TYSA for this initiative and support to the community. ‘We are now 5 families with children with disability in our local community who have come out to protect and support children with Disability’ Mr Kitiyo whose child is in special school in Eldoret Town.
We want to welcome you to give us your feedback on this project. We want to interact with you. We want to listen to you and share your comments with our beneficiaries.
TYSA would like to thank you for your continued support to this project. Without your support, this community would still be viewing disability as a curse.
Give now to ensure Masters Collins, Taboswa, Mss Wanjiru, Eunice, and many more disabled children who depend on your donations access school next term which starts on 7th September 2009
