We at Thabyay Education Network would like to gratitude to those who have supported our latest project 'Help 200 students from Burma study for university' on GlobalGiving.
As of the 8th of July 2011, we need to raise another $39,980 in order to meet our targets. It is crucial that we meet this target to aid the academic development of students from marginalized communities with poor access to education across Burma. Providing help with university preparation will not only allow our students to receive a quality university education but in the longer run, it will also help foster positive change in Burma.
In the coming months we are launching our volunteer fundraising strategy and hope that this will increase donations to the project considerably, helping us to meet our targets. Remember, even the smallest contribution of US$10 can make a difference- from providing students with the necessary materials for their studies to assisting with transport costs etc. We thank you once again for supporting us.
If you have any questions about the project, or about our work, please do get in touch.
With our best wishes,
Tom Kingsley
