More than 24,000 children, under the age of five and living in poverty, die every day from largely preventable causes such as malaria and pneumonia. With the support of our donors, JustWorld International has created children's clinics within our projects, helping to provide medical supplies for common illnesses and proper treatment from committed nurses and doctors who provide services for thousands of children in our projects and their families.

When children have illness addressed and cared for, they are able to return to health, allowing them to continue their studies and preparing for a better future. Similarly, our hygiene programs, such as providing toothbrushes and soap, allow for disease prevention that keeps children healthy, in school and with their families.
As a long term impact, the children who have early intervention into poor health are less likely to have illness escalate to sever and death. At large, this helps to ensure the vitality of a healthy generation to reform communities as healthy, educated citizens.
