Thank you for your generosity to help Mercy & Sharing purchase solar panels to help orphans in Haiti. This project has been funded! Because of you, children are surviving and thriving! Operating a diesel generator is expensive, but solar panels provide clean, sustainable energy. We are thankful to have the electricity needed to help care for babies and disabled children -- especially at night! The 125 orphans at Mercy & Sharing Village send their hugs and smiles to you!Now we would like to invite you to join us in improving a school in Port-au-Prince, Haiti for more than 600 students in grades K-9. Please take a minute to read about this NEW project here:http://www.globalgiving.org/projects/improve-a-school-for-600-children-in-haiti/ Thanks again for your generosity and compassion!Warmly,Louis Fawcettlouis@haitichildren.org
Thanks so much for your support of kids in Haiti! Because of your generosity, we will be purchasing solar panels to help insure reliable electricity for the orphans at Mercy & Sharing Village.
We have chosen Sun Electronics in Miami as our vendor for the solar panels and will be finalizing the details of the purchase soon. Then we will ship the panels to Haiti where they will be installed by a group of skilled volunteers.
This means 122 orphans and the staff members who care for them will have electricity at night to help with feeding, bathing and caring for sick children.
Patrick (pictured here) is one of the children you are helping. He just had hernia surgery but now is doing very well!
