Howllo! Many thanks and joyous HOWLZ from all of us at Full Moon Farm!We are so happy to report we are fully funded, and looking forward to the 2 new habitats being constructed and 2 being rebuilt. We have started one new habitat with materials on hand, picture attached. Take off's for shelters are being completed, and we hope to include some 'vertical enrichment' in the enclosures.Local Charter School students will be coming out on MLK Day to work on land clearing for one habitat in the woods!
We are hoping to have students from Warren Wilson College assist with this project, and will know more after our meeting on the 26th of this month. Fence building weekends will commence in February, weather permitting. Wagner Tree Experts will be donating labor for tree felling and pruning to assist us with this project too!If you are in our area, please contact me email@example.com to assist with Habitat Building, or for a tour. In gratitude,All of us at Full Moon Farm
We have until Monday, December 31, 2012, to meet the goal for the challenge, and we are working hard towards reaching our GOAL!
As a team our volunteers have shared the link to the campaign and asked for donations daily to get this project rolling. We published our newsletter this week and had several stories related to this project included to help promote the campaign for the new housing. Every volunteer for Full Moon Farm has made a committed effort to spread the word on our compaign to as many sponsors as possible to raise awareness and increase opportunities for support. We have used our Causes Action to promote the campaign to our almost 10,000 followers on that portal as well as posting it daily on Facebook for Full Moon Farm and River's followers. Please share our challenge, and keep the faith! We all know that with your help we can make this campaign a reality for us for our much needed homes and repairs to existing home sites for the animals!
Mom says the new enclosures will be great for all of us to stretch our legs and stay safe. We are hoping to build LOG dog houses too! That will be so cool! Achilles and Isabelle really need room to run, since they are in holding kennels. Mom and the volunteers are hoping the weather stays good to build them, once we meet our goals! Thank you for helping! The volunteers will keep moving forward to make this project happen for the animals and we appreciate your continued support and assistance! WE know we could not do this without each and every one of you!
Arrroooo! Will Howl for Donations! Arrroooo!
River, on behalf of Mom, Achilles, Indy, Coal and Isabelle
