New youth interns at our community food center

Building the greenhouse table preparing for Spring
Building the greenhouse table preparing for Spring

We opened our new pantry at our community food center and everything is progressing smoothly. We have re-trained our seasoned volunteers in the new distribution system which is now based on family size and nutritional values. Our youth interns have registered and pre-screened all of our current pantry customers and we are beginning to intake new walk-in pantry guests. It has been a busy season, a cold and busy season but spring is finally here and the numbers at the food pantry are rising.

New faces have also joining the program as youth interns. They are busy learning their new assignments and are quite happy with level of cutomer satisfaction they have achieved in such a short time. We are also anticipating the spring planting season on the farm and have been busy building green house tables in preparation for planting lots of seeds. We look forward to a productive growing season and need continued support to keep our youth interns growing. Please consider a gift to start the new growing season in a bountiful manner.
