PEARL World Youth News, a unique web-based news service managed by iEARN-USA and the Daniel Pearl Foundation seeks $1,000 to fund Online Teacher Profession Development Course to train 50 teachers in the PEARL Reporter Certification Program.
How will this project solve this problem?
Using iEARN’s Internet-based network of schools, 200 students from 45 countries have been trained and certified to report and write stories on issues impacting their countries and communities. This is the first global student news service.

The PEARL World Youth News project builds and sustains a quality international service managed by secondary schools around the world. It develops journalistic skills and promotes cross-cultural understanding.
