Challenge

One cause of chronic poverty, is a lack of financial resources such as savings accounts, microloans, insurance, and proper training on how to spend and invest money. Families in countries like Uganda, Kenya, the Philippines, and Colombia are struggling to find safe places to save their money and start their own businesses- until now.

Solution

By creating access to these financial services, clients in more than 20 countries can use them to expand a business, provide for their families, create jobs for their neighbors and build a safety net for the future.

Long-Term Impact

Five hundred million people living in poverty could benefit from a small business loan. By creating businesses and receiving proper training, families can lift themselves out of poverty and pass down this knowledge to future generations.
