Efforts For Development

Map of EFFORTS FOR DEVELOPMENT I am a member of JOP Jipange Women Group in Kakamega Central District. My name is Judith Ashiali. Our group is a tool for development out to do everything possible to ensure that their presence adds value effects change (makes a difference in society). Collective power brings about results and so it is on the premise of this that in 2009 we started the group. We do projects out of contributions from our members, loans and grants. We also support the less fortunate in the society. These efforts have been fruitful in as ensuring change in the community is concerned. Read more.

Who Will Speak For Them.

The number of physically challenged people in the society rises day by day.these people need special attention since they lack something to equate them to us who are normal. The disabled and physically challenged have faced alot of problem when uzing social amenitis like bridges,roads and public transport vehicles.They have also lacked a way to support themselves financially. Action Network for the Disabled [ANDY] has championed for the rights of this people and recognition of their nature by the society.The society has now changed its view and neglect of this people.They now feel free in society. Aircraft

Map of AIRCRAFT Around my home area we there is an airstrip and whenever i pass around around it a mixture of fear and laughter and sorrow grips me as i remember a certain young man a school boy in st. Mathias high school called john. john was a well known genius was always the top in class and no one matched his performance. He was absolutely excellent in academics and especially in technical and subjects like physics . A time came when john decided to develop his own aircraft an idea that shocked everyone in the area and even his school. Though his creativity was very much appreciated and acknowledged by everyone in the area and school but this idea was totally a strange thing that couldn't get into peoples nervouse. so john took his time and developed the aircraft using some iron sheet metals wood and wheels though his parents tried to to stop him .when the D day came for john to taste the functionality of his aircraft, even journalist attended this special event of the genius. At first things started to raise into air race on the run way and started to raise into the air. Then suddenly the tune of music changed as john in his aircraft came down with a big loud crash and everyone else knew he was dead and luckily he came out alive. Read more.

Drug Abuse

Map of Drug Abuse Teenage alcohol and substances abuse is a fast growing problem inour area it is saddening to read stories about youngsters who have lost their fight against this problem.It is a menace within the area in that it leads to other related problems such as crime,teenage pregnancies and also the spread of diseases like HIV/Aids and Hepatitis. Sondu is an example of one of the towns in the world fighting this eveil.in fact,the fight against this drug abuse has been taken up by religious organisation,non-governmental organisation(NGO's)consellors and the media.most drug users are normally exposed to harmful drugs at a tender age,mainly when they go out with their friends.It is quite common to see young people going out for all-night disco and parties. Communication

On a daily basis people communicate with each other using hand signs, through speech, and different movement of the body. The earliest means of communication in Kenya was by word of mouth special runners and messengers were sent to distance places to pass messages traders later formed important means through which uses of horns, flutes and drums which were sounded to pass different messages. Adolescence

Map of ADOLESCENCE Adolescence is stage in life style that one has to pass through.It is a stage that one enters his or her youthful stage and mostly the changes that the youths get change their lives for a lifetime. There are programmes underground to train and guide the adolescents to that they dont engage in bad habits in the society.Such programmes underground to train and guide the adolescents so that they dont engage in bad habits in the society.Such programmes are carried out mostly by the churches who have their youth section.Within their multitude.They <youths>do have thier own time for going to the church and from the church they get guidance and training done by the church leaders such as pastors and bishops or even special teachers organised by the church administration.The youths need mote attention from the government churches and even Non-governmental organisations to help support themselves and avoid crimes.
