Snapshot from our summer in Tibet

Summer Program 2013: Tso Ngonpo, Eastern Tibet
Summer Program 2013: Tso Ngonpo, Eastern Tibet

Dear friend,

We recently returned from Tibet where your gift is helping promote learning and excellence among young Tibetan students. Thank you for supporting a summer of learning for over 90 participants. We hope you enjoy the following snapshots from the summer!

#1: This picture show the vast ocean-like lake in Eastern Tibet on whose shores we held our program

#2: Students are taking an exam to place them at appropriate levels in English and Tibetan classes

#3: In a province with over 1 million Tibetans, these two girls supported by Machik ranked 1st and 5th among all Tibetan high school students. Tsering (1st rank, right) and Sangye K (5th rank, center) attended the Summer Enrichment Program this year and have now entered a prestigious university in Beijing.

Thank you and best wishes from the team!
