Without medicines – life is not sustainable in Omilling!
In Omilling, people cannot afford even basic medicines. They suffer severely because of poverty and have to live under constant fear of not knowing what they will do if they or their love ones fall seriously ill.
But in many cases, working –classes aren’t much better off either. In comparison to those who can walk 55 km (just going) to public healthcare clinics, there are always no medicines available to give to the sick people.
Access to healthcare plays a vital role in poverty reduction that is why Hope Ofiriha has made each and every effort to provide these critical resources to Omilling.
With donations from GlobalGiving we buy medicines which we supply to the healthcare post. In October 3, Hope Ofiriha supplied the healthcare post with medication to 20 patients suffering from uncomplicated malaria, and 10 patients from fever. This is really good!
We still need your help so we provide ongoing supplies of medicines to safe children, women, and men from dying in Omilling.
Thanks to our donors! Thanks to GlobalGiving for sharing our project with kind people!
In the next 3 months new updates will be posted so you get to know how your contributions are impacting the lives of people in Omilling.
